Training Stay of Muhammad Jahangir Khan at FunGlass

From October 31, 2024, to January 31, 2025, Muhammad Jahangir Khan from the Silesian University of Technology, Poland, conducted a research stay at the FunGlass Centre. His research focused on the Hot corrosion behavior of a new type of thermal barrier coating materials under the supervision of Prof. Grzegorz Moskal (Silesian University of Technology) and Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht (FunGlass).

Reflecting on his experience, Muhammad Jahangir Khan shared:

“I truly enjoyed working at FunGlass, where all the staff members were highly professional and cooperative. I am especially grateful to Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht for giving me the opportunity to be part of his research group, which has been an invaluable experience for me. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Milan Parchovianský and Dr. Anusha Sekar, for their guidance and support in conducting experiments and handling various advanced instruments. Overall, my time at FunGlass was a rewarding experience, and I look forward to continuing this collaboration in the future, hoping it will be beneficial for all of us.”

His time at FunGlass not only enriched his research but also strengthened academic and professional collaborations that will contribute to future advancements in the field.
