Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass conducts habilitation procedure and professor appointment procedure in the the field of INORGANIC TECHNOLOGY AND MATERIALS on the base of the resolution of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic from 10 August 2016 (resolution is authorised without a time limit).
Habilitation procedure and professor appointment procedure are carried out in order to obtain scientific-pedagogical or artistic-pedagogical degrees of an associate professor („docent“) or professor.
During the habilitation procedure, research and teaching competencies of the candidate are assessed on the base of a submitted habilitation thesis and her/ his previous teaching and academic activities in the subject area.
The candidate for professor must be an associate professor (“docent”), an outstanding and universally recognised scholar in her/ his field, and author of important scientific or artistic works. The candidate must meet rigorous selection criteria as consistent teaching activity and supervision of PhD students.
