Strong FunGlass Participation at GlaCerHub Training in Brno
Almost 30 members of the FunGlass team took part in the second edition of the training event “Development and Management & Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation,” held in Brno from March 18–20, 2026, at CEITEC BUT.
This event brought together research group leaders, researchers, project managers, PhD students, and innovation experts for three days of intensive training.
In total, the 2025 and 2026 editions together welcomed over 100 on-site participants and 17 online attendees, creating a vibrant international environment for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Focus of the Training
The program was structured into four modules covering key aspects of modern research and innovation. The sessions were led by Mrs. Zuzana Reptová, an experienced professional in research project development and management, and Mrs. Gabriela Čičmancová, an expert in human resources, talent management, and team development.
- Research Project Development and Management I & II (led by Mrs. Zuzana Reptová)
Participants explored grant proposal development, academic and technical writing, project planning, and strategies for building strong international research consortia. - Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation I (led by Mrs. Gabriela Čičmancová)
The session focused on talent management, mentoring, onboarding, and creating diverse and resilient research teams. - Building Capacities for Sustainable Innovation II (led by Mrs. Zuzana Reptová)
Participants gained insights into the research and innovation policy landscape, including the EU R&I Strategic Plan, RIS3 strategies, the European Green Deal, UN SDGs, and upcoming FP10 and transnational funding opportunities.

Impact and Collaboration
Over the three days, the training provided not only practical tools and knowledge but also valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas among participants from across Europe.
The strong participation of the FunGlass team highlights our ongoing commitment to capacity building, excellence in research, and international collaboration.
