Visit from the University of Gdańsk to the FunGlass Research Centre

We were pleased to welcome representatives from the University of Gdańsk, the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering, Dr. hab. Eng. Natalia Wójcik and Zuzanna Milewczyk, a PhD student in Materials Engineering, to the FunGlass Research Centre.

During their two-week visit, our guests closely collaborated with researchers from the Biomaterials Department. Their stay provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, present ongoing research activities, and identify areas of mutual scientific interest.

In particular, discussions focused on advanced bioactive materials, including bioactive oxynitride glasses, as well as emerging approaches in bioprinting for biomedical applications. The visit enabled deeper scientific dialogue and strengthened the foundations for future collaboration between our institutions.

We highly appreciate the inspiring discussions and the productive time spent together, and we look forward to further joint research initiatives.
