On 29th – 30th April 2019 Centre for Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI) of the Slovak Republic organised two-day workshop in the frame of Tour de ERA events which was initiated by the national project SK4ERA.
Tour de ERA event consisted of 5 two-day events in 5 Slovak cities – Žilina, Banská Bystrica, Košice, Nitra, Bratislava in which the Horizon 2020 themes were presented according to the long-term thematic profile of each city.
The first day of workshop in Bratislava was dedicated to the introduction of the European Research Area (ERA) programs such as Erasmus+, Interreg (European Regional Development Fund), Visegrad funds, COST followed by Horizon 2020 areas: safe, clean and efficient energy, innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises, climate action, the environment, resource efficiency and raw materials.
The second day was devoted to a practical part – an interactive workshop “How to prepare and get a quality project in the EU Horizon 2020” program. The workshop was aimed at gaining practical skills in preparing H2020 project application (planning, consortium, partner – coordinator, excellence – impact – implementation, budget) and addressing specific problems and failures in writing H2020 projects.
