On 19th May, 2019 Peter Hošták, PhD., Head of CAU, participated in seminar on the preparation of project proposals for the TWINNING call within the H2020 program. The seminar was held in Prague, in the premises of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
The aim of the event was to familiarize participants with the principles of preparing individual parts of the project proposal, with the financial specificities and the necessary strategies that must be included in the proposal. The speakers presented also the statistical outputs of the previous calls, the evaluators’ view (the most common mistakes), the evaluation process and the experience with the implementation of new Czech projects.
Twinning stands for institutional networking. A twinning project strengthens a specific field of research in an emerging institution in a Widening country. It links the institution with at least two internationally leading counterparts in Europe. Activities like short-term staff exchanges, expert visits, on-site or virtual trainings, workshops, conference attendance, dissemination and outreach are supported.
