FunGlass Researchers Hold Progress Meeting in Taiwan

Prof. Dušan Galusek and Dr. Monika Michálková from VILA Department met on November 20–21 with the project partners of the joint SAS–MOST project Scaffolds and Biocomposites for Tissue Regeneration: Prof. Wei-Hsing Tuan from the National Taiwan University and Prof. Shao-Ju Shih from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. During the project meeting, they discussed the project’s progress and planned future work.

Members of the FunGlass team also had the opportunity to visit the partners’ experimental facilities and listen to presentations by students from both Taiwanese groups. Prof. Galusek presented an overview of FunGlass research activities and the current PhD study programme, while Dr. Michálková focused her presentation on introducing the Slovak Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Inorganic Chemistry – VILA Department.
