Prof. Galusek represented Trenčín at CICC-14 in Haikou, China

Prof. Dušan Galusek took part in the 14th International Conference on High-Performance Ceramics (CICC-14), held in Haikou, China, from November 30 to December 3, 2025.
The biennial CICC series—organized by the Chinese Ceramic Society—brings together materials scientists, engineers, and industry specialists from around the world to share the latest advances in ceramics, composites, coatings, additive manufacturing, and related technologies.

For Prof. Galusek—whose research spans transparent oxide ceramics, polymer-derived ceramics, and bioactive glass materials, and who delivered an invited lecture titled Polymer-Derived Bioactive 3D Scaffolds for Bone-Tissue Engineering—participation in CICC-14 provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Slovak expertise on an international stage and to engage with global efforts in high-performance ceramics.

His involvement continues a long tradition of international collaboration and further positions the FunGlass, Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, among leading European research institutions contributing to cutting-edge ceramic and glass science.
