New measures of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak republic- starting from April 22th

Following services will be opened :

  • Shops up to 300 square meters
  • Public catering services will only be available through the sales window
  • Sports facilities with the following conditions: barrier-free sport, no dressing rooms, no audience and no toilet facilities
  • Car dealerships
  • Long-term accommodation facilities, however no meals provided
  • Outdoor markets
  • The adjustment of shopping times for seniors will be shortened by an hour, from 9.00 am to 11.00 am (Monday to Friday)

The new rules on wearing masks apply from Tuesday, April 21, 2020 until further notice, it is forbidden to get out and move in public without covering the upper respiratory tract (nose, mouth), such as a veil, scarf, scarf or other means that prevent the spread of droplets.

People not covered by the ban:

  • children under 2 years of age
  • persons with severe autism spectrum disorders
  • people in a closed vehicle if they’re all from the same household
  • public transport drivers who are alone in a closed cabin separate from the other passenger space
  • persons living in the same household while in the countryside, if their distance from others is at least 20 meters
  • persons not living in the same household while in the countryside, if their distance to each other is at least 20 meters
