Project Meeting at the University of Pardubice within the GeSeB Collaboration

As part of the ongoing collaboration on the DS FR 24 0014 project (GeSeB – Synthesis, Laser Modification and Surface Phenomena of Chalcogenide, Oxyselenide and Oxide Glasses and Thin Films), Assoc. Prof. Mária Chromčíková and PhD student Terézia Sabadková (VILA Department) visited the University of Pardubice on May 11–13. The visit followed up on a previous meeting with Czech colleagues in Trenčín and further strengthened the scientific partnership between the collaborating institutions.

The main purpose of the trip was to hold face-to-face meetings and professional discussions regarding the direction of the joint research. During the visit, they also had the pleasure of meeting Professor Todorov, another key partner in the project. In addition to planning the next steps and discussing project synergies with him and other colleagues, Dr. Peter Kutálek, guided them through the laboratories and specialized research facilities at the university.

The opportunity to see firsthand the technical infrastructure and research environment in which the partners conduct their experiments provided valuable insights and will help improve the coordination of future activities.

This direct exchange of knowledge and experience, together with the close cooperation among all project partners, is expected to contribute significantly to the successful achievement of the GeSeB project objectives.
