FunGlass Represented at ISMANAM 2025 by Dr. Iryna Matsukevich

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Iryna Matsukevich represented the FunGlass Centre at the 29th International Symposium on Metastable, Amorphous, and Nanostructured Materials (ISMANAM 2025), held from June 22–27, 2025, in Bratislava, Slovakia. This prestigious event brought together leading scientists, industry experts, and researchers from around the world to share the latest advancements in the field of metastable materials.

Iryna delivered an oral presentation titled “Effects of Melting Processing on the Characteristics and Structure of Microporous Metal-Organic Framework ZIF-62 Glasses.” This research is the result of a 1.5-year collaboration with the Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Reflecting on the symposium, Dr. Matsukevich commented:
“The symposium was conducted to the highest standards, and the scientific quality of the presentations was outstanding. It provided me with new perspectives and ideas that will support both my current research and future projects.”

While in Bratislava, Dr. Matsukevich also visited the Department of Inorganic Materials at the Slovak University of Technology, where she met with Prof. Marián Janek, Head of the Department. The visit aimed to strengthen ties and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
