FunGlass at the Biomedical Centre Martin Seminar

On 3 March 2026, FunGlass had the pleasure of participating in the Seminar of the Biomedical Centre Martin at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin.

During the seminar, Dr. Martin Michálek, Head of our Department of Biomaterials, presented our recent research entitled “1393B3 Bioactive Glass Scaffolds for Bone Regeneration by DLP.” His presentation highlighted the development of advanced bioactive glass scaffolds for bone tissue engineering using digital light processing technology.

The invitation was kindly initiated by Henrieta Škovierová from BIOMED, to whom we would like to express our sincere thanks for the warm welcome and excellent organisation.

Dr. Martin Michálek and his colleague, Dr. Martina Vitazková, also had the opportunity to visit the BIOMED laboratories and discuss ongoing as well as future collaboration activities. The open and friendly discussions created an excellent space for sharing ideas and identifying new possibilities for interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of biomaterials and regenerative medicine.
