FunGlass at Ceramitec 2026, Munich, Germany

Our PhD student, Sheeraz Khan, participated in Ceramitec 2026, held from March 24 to 26 in Munich, Germany.

Ceramitec is a leading international trade fair dedicated to ceramics, advanced materials, and related industrial technologies, bringing together researchers, manufacturers, and industry professionals from around the world.

During the event, Sheeraz actively contributed to a poster session organized by the German Ceramic Society. He presented his current research focused on the corrosion behavior of fused-cast AZS refractories in contact with barium crystal glass. His participation also highlighted the involvement of FunGlass in advancing research within this field.

The event provided valuable insights into current industrial trends, technological developments, and key challenges in the ceramics sector, particularly from an industrial perspective. It also offered an excellent opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas with experts from both academia and industry.
