Dr. Peter Hošták Presents at CVTI Summer School for Project Managers

Dr. Peter Hošták recently delivered a presentation at the Summer School for Project Managers, which took place in Omšenie from 30 June to 7 July 2025. The event was organized by the National Contact Points for Horizon Europe at the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI) and was tailored specifically for project management professionals.

The training was primarily attended by representatives of Slovak academic institutions, along with participants from research organizations and industry.

In his presentation, Dr. Hošták shared his experience with the evaluation process under the Horizon Europe programme. He focused on best practices for both preparing project proposals and implementing them effectively – highlighting strategies that contribute to success during both the evaluation phase and project execution.

His talk included illustrative examples from the GlaCerHub and CLiCAM projects, both coordinated by the FunGlass Centre. During a Q&A session moderated by Kveta Papanová, Coordinator of the National Contact Points for Horizon Europe at CVTI, Dr. Hošták engaged in a lively discussion with attendees on how to increase the participation of Slovak entities in Horizon Europe.

In addition to his presentation, Dr. Hošták also used the opportunity to meet with partners of the Centre – including SCSTI, SLORD, and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) – and to establish new professional contacts.
