PhD Students Grant  2023-2024

We are excited to launch the 2023-2024 Students Grant call for proposals, welcoming expressions of interest from PhD students for research grants to support research activities. In this call for proposals, there are opportunities for PhD students from Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalised Glass (FunGlass) and  FunGlass partners   to perform research activities that focus on issues or topics related to one of FunGlass’s ongoing research topics.

Additionally, this year, in support of our aim to expand multilateral and international collaborations, we welcome ideas for projects that are specifically intended to be carried out at our state-of-the-art laboratories within a short-time secondment arrangement, up to 3 months, between FunGlass and external organizations.

Research calls are open to graduate PhD students who have not received this award in the last call and are graduating no sooner than January 2025. The maximum award amount for research grants is 3000 €, covering expenses of experimental activities, including consumables, characterization, and, upon reasonable justification, production of the experimental setup.
