Congratulations to Aldo R. Boccaccini on his induction into AIMBE’s College of Fellows

The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has recently inducted Aldo R. Boccaccini, Professor and Head of Institute of Biomaterials at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FunGlass partenr´s institution), into its prestigious College of Fellows. This recognition, which represents the top two percent of engineers in medical and biological fields, acknowledges Boccaccini’s significant contributions to bioactive materials design for regenerative medicine, drug delivery, and 3D bioprinting. The induction ceremony took place at the AIMBE Annual Event on March 25, 2024, in Arlington, Virginia, where Boccaccini joined 162 colleagues in the AIMBE College of Fellows Class of 2024.
