FunGlass Young Researchers Present Their Work at the Annual Competition

Every year, the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences  organises a competition in which young researchers and PhD students present their work to colleagues and a panel of judges. The event provides an opportunity to share their research findings, practise communicating scientific results, and further develop their presentation skills.

This year’s presentations once again demonstrated the creativity, enthusiasm, and scientific quality of the next generation of researchers.

We would like to thank Fatemeh Borzooei from the Coating Processes Department, Daniela Jaramillo from the Biomaterials Department, Shubham Gupta and Malihe Ghaffari from the Functional Materials Department, and Sachin Pundir from the Glass Processing Department for their excellent representation of FunGlass.

Special congratulations to Malihe Ghaffari, who won third prize for her presentation entitled “Effect of NH₃ Nitridation on the Structural, Chemical, and Optical Properties of Sputtered Al-Doped ZnO Thin Films.”

Congratulations to all our young researchers for their participation and excellent work!
