Congratulations to Our New PhD Graduate: Dr. Parisa Naghadian Moghaddam

We are pleased to congratulate Parisa Naghadian Moghaddam on the successful public defense of her PhD dissertation, held on 27 July 2026 at the FunGlass Centre, Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín.

Her dissertation, entitled “Development of Corrosion-Resistant Polymer-Derived Ceramic Coatings on Stainless Steel Substrates,” focused on the development of advanced ceramic coatings that enhance the corrosion resistance of stainless steel through polymer-derived ceramic technologies.

The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Milan Parchovianský (TnUAD). The thesis was evaluated by two distinguished reviewers: Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Günter Motz from the University of Bayreuth, Germany, and Dr. Giulio Giorni from CSIC, Madrid, Spain.

The public defense took place in the FunGlass Conference Room B 4.03 from 10:00 to 12:00, where Parisa successfully presented her research and confidently addressed the questions and comments of the examination committee.
