Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht Begins Industrial Collaboration in France

We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht, Head of the Department of Coating, has begun a three-month industrial collaboration with PMG–Ouest Coating in Saint-Nazaire, France, as part of the CLICAM project.

His work focuses on the development of anti-sticking plasma-sprayed ceramic coatings for industrial rollers. The project aims to investigate the influence of coating composition, surface roughness, and wettability on the anti-adhesion behaviour of ceramic coatings used in a range of industrial applications, including:

• polymer film processing,

• packaging and textile rollers,

• paper manufacturing systems, and

• wear-resistant industrial components.

During the collaboration, Assoc. Prof. Pakseresht is working with the professional support of Dr. Sébastien Beauvais, a quality assurance specialist at Ouest Coating.
