Erasmus+ Research Mobility Strengthens Cooperation with the University of Padova

We are pleased to share that our PhD student, Garima Thakur, completed a six-month Erasmus+ mobility stay from November to April at the Department of Industrial Engineering, DII, University of Padova.

The mobility was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Bernardo, in collaboration with Dr. Elena Colusso. During her stay, Garima worked on the preparation of translucent 3D-printed glass supports integrated with functional coatings for the fabrication of devices used in the optical detection of hazardous gases.

This international scientific training provided valuable experience in advanced research activities, interdisciplinary cooperation, and international scientific collaboration. At the same time, it further strengthened the long-term partnership between our FunGlass Centre and the Department of Industrial Engineering, DII, University of Padova, established through the successful FunGlass project. We are very pleased to see that the cooperation between the two institutions continues to grow through new research activities and academic exchange opportunities.
