FunGlass Research Centre and LuxWall™ Collaborate on Advanced Thermomechanical Glass Research

FunGlass Research Centre has launched a collaborative project with LuxWall™, a U.S.-based leader in vacuum insulated glazing technologies. The joint effort focuses on investigating the thermomechanical properties of advanced glass materials.

LuxWall™, headquartered in Ypsilanti, Michigan, specializes in developing and scaling Transparent Insulation technologies for the built environment. Their flagship product, Enthermal™, significantly improves thermal performance by up to 5X when compared to double-paned windows, by either eliminating or drastically minimizing all forms of heat transfer: conductive, convective, and radiative.
