Strengthening International Collaboration in SOFC Research

Funded by the JECS Trust Mobility Project, Dr. Anastasiia Novokhatska from the Glass Processing Department has successfully completed a short-term research stay at the Institute of Ceramics and Glass (ICV) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid, Spain, under the supervision of Dr. Glenn C. Mather.

During her three-month stay (September–December 2025) at ICV, Dr. Novokhatska acquired valuable expertise in evaluating the electrochemical properties of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). Her research focused on improving the electrochemical performance of SOFC components and half-cells through the use of multi-material 3D printing.

She would like to express her sincere gratitude to the ELAMAT research group for their support and knowledge sharing, which were instrumental in achieving the research objectives. This collaboration has also contributed to strengthening the scientific ties between the two institutions.
