Participation at ECOSS 38 in Braga, Portugal

Our researcher Dr. Surjyakanta Rana (Department of Functional Materials) and PhD student Amol Logavi represented our institute at the 38th European Conference on Surface Science (ECOSS 38), held in Braga, Portugal, from 24 to 29 August.

Both delivered presentations showcasing their latest research:

  • Dr. Surjyakanta Rana: Constructing High-Performance Pt-Based Photocatalysts for H₂ Generation

  • Amol Logavi: Multifunctional Coatings for Enhanced Performance and Durability of Solar Cell Cover Glasses

ECOSS is a prestigious annual meeting organized by the Surface Science Division of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) and the Surface and Interface Section of the European Physical Society (EPS).

The conference serves as a dynamic platform for scientists, researchers, and engineers from academia, industry, and national laboratories worldwide. It fosters discussions on the latest progress in the physics and chemistry of surfaces and their applications across areas such as heterogeneous catalysis, organic molecular nano-architectures, two-dimensional materials, graphene, nanoelectronics, bio-nanoscience, and functional and energy materials.

We thank Dr. Rana and Amol for their excellent participation and for showcasing our research at this international forum.
