Participation in the Advanced Ceramics and Applications Conference XIII

Our team proudly participated in the Advanced Ceramics and Applications Conference XIII (ACA XIII), held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 8–10 September 2025. The conference, organized by the Serbian Ceramic Society under the theme “New Frontiers in Multifunctional Material Science and Processing”, brought together leading researchers, engineers, and specialists from around the world to exchange knowledge and highlight the latest achievements in advanced ceramics.

In the frame of the GlaCerHub project, Prof. Dušan Galusek delivered a plenary invited lecture titled “Glass and Glass-Ceramics with Therapeutic and Antimicrobial Properties.” He was joined by Dr. Katarina Drdlíková from CEITEC Brno, a GlaCerHub partner institution, further strengthening international collaboration. In addition, Dr. Monika Michalková presented an invited lecture on “Cold Sintering of a YAG Composition Glass.”

ACA XIII once again confirmed its role as a key meeting point for the scientific community, fostering networking, collaboration, and inspiring discussions on advanced ceramics for applications in high-tech industry, renewable energy, environmental efficiency, space technology, cultural heritage, and beyond.
