3rd annual meeting of International Advisory Board of FunGlass Centre
It is with pleasure that we can report on 3rd annual meeting of International Advisory Board (IAB) held on October 17, 2019 in the premises of the Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass.
The meeting was led by prof. Dušan Galusek, the coordinator and Director of FunGlass. IAB is an advisory authority to the Centre director and consists of acclaimed researchers active in the relevant research field of FunGlass Centre who are based in non-EU countries.
IAB agenda covered variety of issues related to status and progress of FunGlass Centre, as human resources strategy, research and training activities. There has been considerable discussion with a number of recommendations for Centre´s development and its further progress from the side of IAB members.
The meeting was attended in person by Prof. Himanshu Jain (Lehigh University, USA), prof. Sener Oktik (Şişecam Science and Technology Center, Turkey) and prof. Edgar Zanotto via skype (Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brasil).
