Industrial Board´s kick-off meeting

On 25^th September Industrial Board of FunGlass Center organized its first meeting. Industrial Board comprises the representatives of both Slovak-regional (AGC Trenčín, s. r. o., Johns Manville Slovakia, a. s., RONA, a. s., Vetropack Nemšová, s. r. o.) and European industries (Colorobbia Italia S.p.A, Corning France, Glass Service, a. s. Czechia, Nuova OMPI, Italy). The aim of newly formed Industrial Board is to contribute to improving the overall framework conditions for innovation of FunGlass by intensification of collaboration between industry and academia.

The meeting was led by prof. Dušan Galusek, the coordinator of FunGlass project and the Head of just created Center. The main research tasks for the Center have resulted from the discussion in which the industry representatives defined the actual problems of their companies and actual states and tendencies in the field. The ambition of proposed suggestions is that they result in join Horizon 2020 proposals.
