Research staff of FunGlass has new members

That´s pleasure to announce that in the beginning of September FunGlass Research staff was enriched by two new members:

Martin Blaško recived a PhD in Theoretical and computational chemistry in 2019 from the Comenius University in Bratislava. The topic of his PhD. thesis was  Can the properties of (nano)materials be derived from the properties of molecules and their clusters?

His primary areas of interest are ab initio study of molecular systems in gas phase, ab initio molecular dynamics and molecular dynamics, developing new rare-earth free materials for WLED with help computer simulations.

He is joining Department of Functional Materials.

Beáta Pecušová recived a PhD at Faculty of Industrial Technologies in Púchov, Alexander Dubcek University of Trenčín in 2019. The topic of her PhD. thesis was The influence of aluminum silicate and modified forms on the properties of composite materials.

Her scientific activities includes study of thermal behaviour of glasses, glassceramics and ceramics materials /DSC, DTA and TG/, study of thermo mechanical properties of advanced glass and ceramics materials, and Treatment and initial testing of samples before thermal analysis.

She has joined in the Central laboratories Dpt.
