Mir Saeed Sajjadi

Mir Saeed Sajjadi started his academic life by obtaining his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry (Majoring in Applied Chemistry) from the University of Tabriz (Iran), in 2014. Then, he received his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Majoring in Nanochemistry) from the same university, in 2016. He has pursued his master‘s under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alireza Khataee. He defended his thesis with the title “ Treatment of wastewater containing Paraquat herbicide by the heterogeneous electro-Fenton process using nanostructured natural martite and modified graphite electrode by plasma technique”. He has worked on the generation of the new nanostructured sono/electro/photocatalysts and their application in the advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), which led to the publication of 9 papers in top journals, like Electrochimica Acta, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, etc.

Moreover, he has worked as an engineer in Sahand Jam Tabriz Co. (Iran) glass factory for 3 years (2019-2021). Currently, he is continuing his career as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) student at the Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass (FunGlass) in Trencin, Slovakia.
