Daniela Jaramillo Raquejo
Daniela Jaramillo Raquejo is a Physical Engineer and MSc in Applied Physics from Universidad EAFIT (Colombia), where she participated in research on materials science. Her bachelor’s thesis established the first XRD protocol for quantifying amorphous and crystalline phases of ceramics for Cementos Argos S.A. Later, as a research assistant at EAFIT, she focused on materials processing and characterization. During her master’s, she developed tailored ceramic sputtering targets for thin-film fabrication using plasma-based techniques, conducting part of her research at the Université de Limoges (France) on the correlation between coating parameters, microstructure, and hardness.
Dissertation topic: Development of novel bone filler composites with enhanced bioactivity and biological response.
