Mokhtar Mahmoud on his Erasmus stay in Helmholtz Institute Ulm, Germany

Our FunGlass student Mokhtar Mahmoud, who is in the 4th year of his doctoral studies, started his Erasmus Internship at Helmholtz Institute Ulm for Electrochemical Energy Storage– HIU (associated institute of  Ulm University in Germany). His stay lasts from January 1st to March 15th 2023. Mokhtar focuses his work at HIU on the “Application of Hollow Glass Microspheres for Hydrogen Storage”. He is working under the supervision of Dr. Montaha Anjass in the Solid State Chemistry group, and they are willing to propose lightweight and efficient materials for hydrogen storage. They believe that hydrogen holds the promise as a dream fuel of the future with many social, economic and environmental benefits to its credit.
