Homecoming from training: Hossein Hosseini´s return from Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research in Jena

These days, our PhD student, Hossein E. Hosseni, has returned to FunGlass after completing a one-year training stay at the Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany. During this period, he worked on his dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Lothar Wondraczek and Dr. JiangKun Cao, focusing on the topic “Novel phosphors for NIR mechanoluminescence and biomechanical imaging”.

To capture his experience, let’s read about it in his own words:

I would like to express my deep appreciation to my supervisors Prof. Dr. -Ing Lothar Wondraczek and Dr. JiangKun Cao during my long-term internship at Jena. I owe a great deal of my professional and personal development over this internship to their advice and encouragement. They are really the epitome of positivity and hard effort. “Vielen Dank”

Moreover, I’m reaching out to thank my FG supervisor Prof. Dr. Róbert Klement for connecting me to OSIM. I cannot express how much I value and appreciate your unwavering support and encouragement. “Ďakujem”
