FunGlass participated at the 30th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials

Dr. Martin Michálek, Dr. Si Chen and Fatih Kurtuldu actively participated at the 30th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials, which took place together with the 26th annual meeting of the German Society for Biomaterials (DGBM) in Dresden, Germany from 09th-13th September 2019.

The conference provided a highly interesting programme which covered all aspects of biomaterial research (Biomaterial synthesis and characterisation, Metallic, ceramic and polymeric biomaterials, Composites and nanocomposites, Biomaterials for hard and soft tissue regeneration, Local drug and growth factor delivery, Biocompatibility and in vitro tests, Cell-material interactions, Scaff old-based tissue engineering, Tissue and organ models, Additive manufacturing and 3D bioprinting, In vivo tests and animal models, Clinical applications and commercialisation of biomaterials, Legal and regulatory aspects).

Dr. Martin Michálek presented his research topic related to the “Effect of therapeutic ion doping on the morphology and final composition of mesoporous glass particles obtained by micro-emulsion method”, Dr. Si Chen had oral presentation on the topic “Multi-targeted B and Co co-doped 45S5 bioactive glass for angiogenesis” and Fatih Kurtuldu presented via its posterSynthesis of Cerium and Gallium Doped Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles”.
