Fulden Dogrul completed her training at FAU, Erlangen

Ms. Fulden Dogrul, FunGlass PhD student, completed at the end of July 2021 her 9 month training period at Institute of Biomaterials of the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen Nuremberg, Germany (https://www.biomat.tf.fau.eu/). The training coordinated by Dr. Liliana Liverani and supervised by prof. A. R. Boccaccini was held in the framework of the EU H2020 project FunGlass – Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass. At Slovak FunGlass Centre, Fulden´s doctoral thesis “Bioactive Scaffolds from PreCeramic Polymers “is supervised by Prof. Dušan Galusek. Her research topic is solved also in collaboration with Prof. Enrico Bernardo at University of Padova, Italy. This research involves the development and characterisation of advanced porous bioceramic components for biomedical applications, using additive manufacturing and foaming technology for bone tissue regeneration. Her training at FAU included also biological characterization and antibacterial properties testing. Fulden is going to continue in her

Fulden is enrolled as PhD student at TNUAD and also at University of Padova. Successful completion of her studies gives her the opportunity to obtain a double degree from both universities.
