Nurshen Mutlu completed her undergraduate education in Metallurgical and Material Engineering at Kocaeli University in 2014 and she received her M.Sc. degree in Metallurgy and Material Engineering from Sakarya University, Turkey in 2017. From 2014 to 2016, she has joined The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) project which related to her master thesis, as an project assistant. Her master thesis is about synthesis of aluminium nitride ceramic powder at low temperature and/or short reaction time by using Dynamic Carbothermal Reduction and Nitridation (DCRN) Method and possibility of using industrial scale production. During the master degree, she has spent one year in Technical University of Ostrava in Czech Republic as an exchange student. After graduation, she found an oppurtinity to study at FunGlass for four months for orientation period for her PhD.
Dissertation topic: Incorporation of bioactive glass into soft matrices for soft tissue engineering applications.
